I'm a 40 something woman who started in radio back when we played records! Yikes! This doesn't mean I'm not a gadget girl as I could probably change my name to iLori as I have an iPod touch, iPhone, Macbook Pro and an iPad. Not that I have any of these things in my possession half the time as my kids are playing Club Penguin or listening to me on iheartradio (grab the app now!). My twins are 8 years old and we're also proud parents of a greyhound and chiquaqua that barks everyone away from the front door.
I started in radio because I love music and people and how the two interact. Lyrics move me, literally sometimes, and hopefully get you through the day as well. I love to interact with you so Facebook friend me OR let me know you're on Twitter so I can follow you that way.

The Blog Post My Son Insists Upon....
My son is obsessed with Star Wars. We've viewed all the movies. We now watch the Clone Wars cartoons. He's not dark side but rather "the good guys" all the way. He dresses up every Halloween as a Star Wars character. Which is why he INSISTED I HAD to put this on my blog. And honestly, it's so darn charming I couldn't resist. Hard not to love a Darth Vader dog that looks like our Buddy!

Love Movies? You'll Love This!!
Oscar nominations came out this morning - Hugo, The Artist, The Descendants - all did really well. Most of the time though, these big movies, I go to see them and I'm thinking, "This is a good movie?!?! The Descendents" was one of the most depressing things I've ever seen."
Anyway, I found this video of Lionel Richie doing "Hello" via movie clips. It's awesome, enjoy!
